Aaron Dahlen was born in Bellevue, Washington (a suburb of Seattle) on October 13, 1984. Presently, he is the Gaming Editor for SLCentral after heading up his own gaming/hardware web site project with half a dozen others for more than two years.
He was a latecomer into computers, owning his first at the age of 12. With this, he became deeply interested in the technical as well as fun aspects of PCs. An avid PC gamer, he has never owned a console.
For the past four years, Aaron has kept relations with many game developers and publishers, staying active in the community. His current location in Kirkland, Washington (yet another suburb) puts him in good contact with major players such as Sierra, Valve, and Microsoft.
Hours of the day not spent at the computer or sleeping (plenty of those) are spent with valued friends, playing tennis, and enjoying as many types of music as he can get his hands on. He has high hopes of earning a degree in computer science from the University of Washington.
Aaron does web site and graphical design for friends and for worthy causes, after taking classes in both areas. He is also looking towards internships with local computer consultants that will help him formulate a career plan.
