David Pitlyuk, born on May 18th, 1982, is the president and owner of SLCentral. David has been working with computers since the age of 7, and started to delve into more of the hardware as well as the graphic aspect of computing.
In December of 1998 David decided to launch a website dedicated to the computing community. The site went under the alias of TechnoComp and was worked on by him and two of his friends. Soon afterwards David decided to make a name change, and went with SystemLogic. After running the site off of a free server, it was moved onto its own domain, SystemLogic.net. It has since then made a name change to SLCentral.com.
SystemLogic.net has gone through a plethora of looks over it's lifespan and has gone through an immense amount of change since its inception. The site has also worked with some of the biggest networks out there like Imagine Media's MaximumPC Network, FGN, B2BWorks, and more.
In Fall of 2000 David began attending the University of Maryland Baltimore County as an IMDA (Imaging And Digital Arts) major with a path in computer animation. He continues to run the site in college with the growing staff onboard.
Aside from SLCentral, David works on other internet projects like BattleBoards.com, and actively does freelance web design and graphic design work.
