I noticed that when you smack something really hard it tends to break. I had an old crappy 286 computer which was really slow, and didnt even have a hard drive. The sucker only had around 512kb of ram, and to top it off it was one of those 1 piece computers that has the monitor built into it. Well day i got bored and decided i needed to have some fun. So i broke out the old screw driver and started prying off some of those capaciters (probably useless hehe), then I worked my way up to the chips... those were a real pain to get off but eventually they budged and came off. What I learned is that doing this broke the computer and caused it to not work anymore go figure hehe.
