Cutriss has that correct. Permedia's cards are targetted for professional graphic applications, mainly towards 3D stuff like 3D Studio Max, Lightwave, etc.

They aren't made to run games, although they did come out with the closest so far to a consumer card, which was the Permedia 3D Create!. SystemLogic.net actually did a review of both the Permedia and the oxygen cards back when they came out.
