I cannot agree with you there... Maybe it has something to do with havimg multiple processors, but I find that my beta version of Windows 2000 SP3 is much more stable than the release version of XP... After I got the final version, I installed it & ran it through my personal ringer that I use to evaluate beta software... I didnt even have to try to make programs freeze, they were doing that quite enough on their own... The base OS is good I guess... Just dont try to run any intense programs, like VC++ or VB.
