This is impressive. Intel showed a 3.5ghz P4 previously. Assuming that Intel would show off the fastest they possibly had, then this would indeed be the fastest. I'm most impressed
Despite the drastic measures used to cool this chip, it does go to show just how high this puppy can clock. I recall that previously some Athlons were overclocked to ~2.2ghz, which was about 50% above stock speed. Given the nature of the Athlon, it won't be reaching that kind of overclock again, most likely, even on a .13 process. The P4, on the other hand.....well, I bet we'll continue to hear of these kinds of overclocks on P4 derivatives for years to come.
