This would definitely be a great game in multiplayer, since you could have several superheroes working together at once. The single-player game was supposed to work within this aspect, but I found it really hard to control more than two superheroes at a time, so the second mission was a royal pain in the ass. Yes, you can pause, issue orders, and then unpause, but that just totally kills the flow of the gameplay, and it's a crude way to balance out gameplay flaws.
