If I wanted to best sum up my impressions of Trainz, it'd be like comparing Microsoft Flight Simulator to Flight Unlimited. Flight Unlimited wasn't a full-bore sim, even though it had a comparatively impressive amount of detail. It brought flight simming to everyone, and made it fun for the layperson.

In the same manner, Trainz surpasses many previous attempts at train simulators by *Not being a train simulator*! It looks and seems fun, and it's really customizeable. I love the diesel engine model that looks like a cow...
