AMDZone had a poll on the naming of this. It was supposed to have been supported by AMD and the answer with the most votes would win. The other choices were terrible. So blame me and the other people that voted. Maybe it powers the transformers, like Megatron.

I was pretty disgusted by this too. Has transmeta made anything good lately?

When I lived in Austin they would run that one with the train. Asking which would you rather have Pentium or Athlon. And then explaining how the Athlon was faster in clock speed and benchmarks. It was actually pretty funny. But I haven't seen one since
