And you completely defeat the purpose.....
You say the key is cooling. But Zalman makes QUIET components. Adding a fan or a compressor is not noiseless. Currently, you can't hear anything with the Reserator. You can't hear the pump at all. You might not believe that, and still think that a $200 pump is "just as quiet guaranteed" but I know for a fact that you're mistaken. I have an Eheim 1060. I can hear it. Barely, but I can hear it.
Mind you, I don't think the Reserator is "perfect." There are large coolers that cool better and ANY other water cooling solution cools better, but none are truly silent.
