Well, latency is a pretty big issue when your wireless net is spread out pretty far but in a an apartment like mine, you dont have to worry since the reciever is in pretty close proximity to the transmitter. I found out after more testing of the wireless net that latency becomes an issue when you get more than 200 ft. away from the transmitter. As for the D-Link kit i reviewed, it was basically plug and play and it also allowed for 8-bit encryption but I don't need that, it's not like anyone will be pulling my pr0n from the air in my own place.
