    Talking Fast and the Furious?

ok I saw this movie last wednesday and I must say it is awesome. Don't get me wrong the actual story is kinda weak and the ending left a lot of loose ends but the cars were friggin off the wall!!!

I especially liked the fact they had that yellow Skyline R33 GTR they had. When I saw the signature circular rear lights I was like noooo waaaay! It's even right hand drive hehehe. Anyway, anyone else into import cars or just hooking up cars in general? If you are you need to see that movie. That supra at the end, the RX-7 Vin Diesel was driving, and the green eclipse that was trashed were only a few kick ass cars in that movie. It makes me want to go out and spend 10 grand right now hehehe hook up some NOS and tear up the road.

if you've got a kickass ride post it up here along with the specs and performance upgrades. Personally, I want to get a Nissan 300zx TT but as it looks I might actually get a 96 Nissan 300zx N/A convertible. Not as good as the TT but it's a convertible and let's face it, chicks dig convertibles hehehe
I probably wouldn't do much performance upgrading at first since it won't have much improvement on the N/A engine. I'd probably set up a nice sound system, custom interior, maybe a body kit and custom paint job. Then maybe do some performanc upgrades but only those I can afford and maybe only up to stage IV depending. It's not a 10 second car but it's still a sweet ride hehehe

these are pics of the fastest 300ZX convertible in the U.S.

yeah, I've heard from a LOT of friends that F&F was a REALLY good movie, with some NICE camera work for the car scenes.

    I wanna see it sometime

I thought that movie was awesome! I'm into cars and hooking them up and modding them, so this was for me! I could have sat there closed my eyes and listen to the engine noises for the entire movie and had loved it!

I really liked the Supra and RX-7 the Vin Diesel drove in the beginning of the movie.

But yeah Tom, I get that same feeling.

I'm trying to get a 97 or up 3000GT SL in black. I plan on getting Katzkin custom leather, Tsudo exaust with a catback system, intake (not sure what kind yet), and 18 or 19 inch rims so far. There are a bunch of little things on the list as well, but hey, first I'm gonna need the car, and right now that doesn't quite look like it will be happening.

But if you like cars and haven't seen the movie, go to it NOW!

I saw the fast and furious today, and it did rock. I have a red 96 Subaru Impreza, lowered with H&R springs, Bilstein shocks, Seneca Racing Rims, rear sway bar, Air Intake, Tenzo Exhaust w/ tanabe tip. It also has tinted windows and a killer Eclipse stereo system. I want to put a turbo into the car badly, but can't decide whether to get a new car or add a turbo to the one I have. After 5 years, I am kindda tired of it. Anyone else have a modified car?

I have bever raced it, so I couldn't tell you. I would guess 0-60 around 7.9 seconds. It is not a fast car at all. Its a 2.2 liter 4 cyclinder. The all -wheel drive bogs it down as well.

    Default My ride?

Pshaw...If I didn't spend so much of my money dumping it into my computer, maybe I could trick out my Jeep...but then again, it's not like Jeeps are for circuit racing. Offroading, on the other hand...

And I do live in a relatively hilly area, even with all the farmland around. Quite a few people around here take their SUVs mud-riding, but I just like cruisin' over hill and dale myself.

I really would like to get a custom del Sol or a 92-95 model Prelude, tho'.

You put all that sh*t in there and haven't ever raced your car?????? What's wrong with you?!?!?

It has to be faster than that, my 94 Altima is a 4 cylinder, all wheel drive, I think 2.2 liter, and gets 0-60 in 8 seconds...

    Talking

I would guess that Impreza of yours would do 0-60 in around 6 secs, maybe less. if you're thinking about getting a new car, i'd wait a year or two cuz a lot of good sports cars are coming in the next couple years. Mistubishi Lancer (hopefully the EVO VII), Nissan Skyline, Nissan 350zx, Mazda RX8, the acura RSX (already here), Subaru Impreza WRX and I'm not sure what else. Personally I'm into the Lancer Evolution series or the 350zx.
