Hmmm....well there are quite a bit. I know Jonny will probably recommend TCWO (tcwo.com) he's told me some good stuff about them. And their staff is especially great, especially their tech support :-)

I don't have much experience with really any of the online sites, so hopefully somebody else has some better advice than I do :-)

First off, "anything" is one word!

Don't worry your spelling mistakes aren't half as bad as those done by those morons over at Devnut. It's "dependent" you idiots!

    Where were we? Web store?
Buy.com is good. mwave.com is good (they have a really cool "Penguin" case) egghead.com has good prices, especially their wherehouse, but not great customer support. accessmicro.com is pretty good. and there are a bunch more. pricewatch.com is great for finding good prices from different vendors, and i have yet to get screwed by a vendor, as long as you use a credit card your find the credit card companies are vicious when it comes to online fraud and your protected.

I've had good result with Onvia.com, MWave.com, NECXDirect.com, and MicroX-Press.com. I've had good and bad experiences with McGlen.com, they can be fast sometimes with delivery and take forever sometimes. NECXDirect has good customer service, but usually don't have the cheapest prices. Onvia are usually quick to ship, have a lot of distribution points in the US and have good customer service. MicroX-Press is the latest online retailer that I have tried and I was pretty impressed with them. And finally, Mwave. I like Mwave a lot. They usually have the cheapest prices out there and are pretty quick to ship.

The best site for computer software, electronics, desktops, labtops (although this doesn't really fall under the parts category) would have to be Outpost.com, which offers free overnight shipping with good prices to start with.

Main thing, check a site like resellerratings.com....But even the good ones are not always good. Paul highly recommnded Directron.com, so I bought a bunch of stuff from them, ended up having a ton of problems/issues with them....

All I need to say is GOOD LUCK!

Actually, I like Directron as well. The morning I received a small order I made with them, they called me to make sure everything was okay with it. It was all well packaged, priced well, and just all around great. I don't know what happened with your order, Dave...

    Default Shipping and Service

ok here are my two cents ... Clink Clink,..

ok i have to Say that TCWO.COM did a really good job on my order, the only thing that you have to watch out for if your in a hurry is your shipping option, don't go with the cheap rate, unless you have the time to wait, like me, i'll give them 5 out of 5 stars (eight items ordered)

the other site that i used was NEWEGG i have to say that all in all the service was great i had two issues with two different items(one s500 case and one volcano II h/f) both were dammaged in shipping and they didn't ask me to send them back they just sent me new products, a first in service for me, i give them 4 out of 5 stars (packaging needs improvement)(nine items ordered)

the one store that i was not happy with was The Overclockerz Store i ordered memory from them and they billed my CC 3X amount of what i bought and to get it striaghtended out took almost a month and a half after i got the product,
over all i only give them a 3 out of 5(custmer service stunk no 800#, email took way to long to reply to, and if you did get someone they would have to have to ask half a dozen people on what to do, the only thing going for them were there prices at the time)(three items ordered)

so all in all i have had good experiances, but like dave has said; "But even the good ones are not always good"

so it is still a buyer beware market out there

I mix a combo of pricwatch.com and a healthy dose of resellerratings.com This lets me find cheap stuff and reputable companies

The thing I don't like about OCZ is how they own a network of websites that review OCZ products along with their own. Now tell me...do you think there's any chance of editorial bias there?
