Well I kind of went to Times Square. All of our plans got screwed up, so I went to NYC, then ended up leaving, went to Olive Garden for dinner and hung out at my girlfriends house with a bunch of our friends....
What did you do?

Do you work at a chemical plant? The reason I ask is because we do the same thing at my job. I worked on new years eve and made $745 for that one night and didnt do anything but surf the web and read magazines.

I work in the K-Resin unit "K-Resin is a clear medical grade plastic that we make". The job is great because if you are the outside operator then you only have like maybe 1hr. of work to do in a 12hr day. If you are inside on the board running the unit it gets dull because everything is so automated these days. Soo much free time on your hands. The work schedule is great because you work 4 nights, 3 days off, 3 days, 1 day off, 3 nights, 3 days off, 4 days, 7 days off.
The pay is great too. You top out in 3 years at 24.50 hr. We are union so we also get another 3.5% an hr every year. Most of us make around 80-100,000 a year depending on how much overtime you want to work. The benifits are great too. If you get in early like I did then you should have well over a million when you retire. It only takes 2 years of college to get hired at a plant around here in Houston, Texas.
