Hey:
First, just wanna say these boards are awesome.
Okay...
What is your favorite form of transportation, lets say for going on vacation:
Plane, Car, Boat, Train, exc.
I'd have to say train or boat (cruise), because plane rides are boring besides the movie, and trains have movies and are cooler and boats have stuff to do.
It is a hard choice, but trains are pretty cheap...

Most definetly biking, carrying your tent, and bushwhackign it into the middle of nowhere. Getting away from it all is damned nice feeling

I second the bike !
Incredible way of transportation.
(I'd vote for rollerblading usually, but you need a good surface to skate on ... even streets don't seem to be fit for it anymore )
I might try that this summer, go tour the region with friends. Getting away from the usual worries

The only problem with biking is that it requires that you have one. Mine was stolen (and it had 3 U-locks on it too) in the first 2 weeks of classes. Oh wel....

Sheesh, they really wanted the bike
I brought mine to school for a week (then it got too cold ). The campus is in a rather lifeless part of town, the only people going around are student, and most know that it wouldn't be wise to stand anywhere near the bike racks, since there are really few students that come on bikes and those that do have lots of friends.
My bike in under surveillance all day (more or less). I wouldn't tie it outside at any other place that school though ... I'd bring it with me . Besides, my school day tend to be short, and with a 10min break every hour, I get to check up on it
I'd prefer rollerblades, for the peace of mind (they're with you at all times, no worry) But since that part of thown is rather lifeless, the asphalt is quite old and in a shitty state. Buying new wheels every month isn't fun (I tried for a while )

I like to fly. Its a rush, because you never know when and if you will crash and burn. Life is all about taking chances. Pushing yourself to the limit.

I have to agree...except that I can't fit my computer in my backpack! :-)
Trains are DEFINITELY cool. I like planes, but trains have AC outlets for laptop power! I'd like to see a plane do that...The only problem with trains is that they stop too often, and they already travel slowly, so it takes you four days to cross the country.
