I just recently got a cell phone, a Nokia 8290. Now before I even got the phone I knew that you could actually do a lot of modifications to it, like changing the LEDs so the phone glows a different color, or adding a new operator logo, ringtones, new faces etc... so, being the freak that I am, I'm thinking about hooking up the phone...

My plan is, change the screen LEDs to hyper white and the keypad LEDs to red. Then get a clear face and clear keypad. I've already changed the operator logo and ringtones. Of course, changing the lights voids the warranty but that's a chance I'll take...

Anyone else out there into stuff like this? I know it's only a cell phone but you'd be surprised how many girls ask you where you got that cool glowing phone hehe...

Hadn't thought of modding my cell phone- it's just a necessary evil...
