Default To get on the bandwagon

Well I know a few people have gotten hired from being active knowledgable members on stuff like the message boards of site. A lot of the times, the owners of the site may just know people and hire them.

If you want to really get on it, write a sample review on something that is not always the easiest to write about. Like on a video card for example, where there is a lot to write about (depending on the site though). Reviewing also takes a lot of time and trust. It takes a lot of time because if you are a dedicated reviewer you are expected to be active staff member and regularly submit reviews. Trust, because the site won't just send you stuff if they just hired you, unless they know you somehow. You never know who will just take it and never show up again. Mainly, you have to LOVE what you do. You should want to review stuff not for any other reason (although there are some benefits).

    Hope that helps.
