I was just looking @ Sharp's Zaurus Handheld site

and It seems that the 3rd ROM update is out (2.37) - along with a new version of the Sync Software (1.2)

Here's a list of some of the changes:
    • Improved Intellisync™ synchronization software.
    • Improved Qtopia synchronization software.
    • Improved USB driver for easier synchronization.
    • The USB data communication between the Zaurus and the PC is improved.
    • When using the serial cable for establishing a connection a dialog box will be displayed on the PC to show users that the PC and the Zaurus are ready for synchronization.
    • Fixes email text formatting of email messages when text view is de-selected (default).
    • Fixes screen corruption page view percentage is changed on PDF documents viewed in the Opera browser.
    • Fixes corruption of Birthday and Anniversary fields when receiving a beamed contact from Pocket PC 2002 devices.
    • Synchronization install process has been modified to reduce the required steps.
    • The USB data communication between the Zaurus and the PC is improved.
    • The Zaurus will now support the Socket 10/100 Ethernet Card
    • Synchronization of Multi Day appointments in Outlook® is supported.
    • HancomMobileOffice updates are included.

It is very very cool! I am semi-literate when it comes to linux, but the guys at Sharp did a good job at dumbifying it. There is nothing that I cannot do that my friends with the new 600$ plus iPaq's can... (I paid 399 for the Zaurus & it has the exact same hardware specs).

I must say however that the best part about the Zaurus is the software: 99.97% of it is FREE & Open Source!

    God Bless the GNU Project

Oh yeah... Quake runs pretty good on it too :]
