I have aftermarket pioneer speakers and a head unit + a soundstream mono amp and a kicker box/sub. When I get my new car, I'm deciding whether or not to move the amp/sub, or to sell the car with everything.

In my new car it will have a 6cd in-dash bose cd-player and bose speakers all around, so I think I'll be keeping that. I definitely want to get a seperate amp/sub in though...I'm thinking of just completely upgrading, but not too sure yet as I like how mine currently hits.

Aside from that, a couple of times I've thought about doing some video stuff. Originally I wanted to put TVs in the visors, headrests and in the dash. DVD would be controlled by an XBox, which of course you can play, and I was thinking about hooking up a PC as well. Then I realized the cost and said forget about it .

Anybody else here an car multimedia enthousiast like myself?

This is probably late. If you are not planning on keeping your old stuff, I would definatly ebay it or even try selling it here. Then stick in the unit that came with the car. I have actually heard of aftermarket additions decreasing value. That is if you cannot find a special buyer who is will to pay the extra for it. If you look on ebay, most car audio products are not going for significant discounts.

Well I'm trying to sell the car with it....but if I don't find a buyer that wants it I'll just sell the system seperately on eBay like you said. I decided to get 2 12's and a new amp in my new car....I won't do it for a while, but I'm planning on doing a custom box, 2 12" alpine type r subs, and not sure about the amp yet.
