What kind of cell phone do you have?
What kind of cell phone do you have and who is your carrier? Also, what are your experiences?
Well, I've personally had many cellphones in the past, but currently I just switched from AT&T to Verizon. I've been on Verizon before, and like it better...jsut their phones suck.
The phone I have is the Samsung SCH-N300:
Some details:
GPS (Global Positioning System) capable for FUTURE E911 emergency location
Large 6-line screen display (5 lines of text and 1 line of icons)
Internet Ready (Openwave WAP-enabled browser)
Receives Text Messages
CDMA Data Capable (with optional data cable)
Voice Dialing for up to 10 numbers
Stores up to 199 numbers/email addresses
Vibration Alert
23 ringtones and melodies assignable to calls or alerts
Personal scheduler and calculator
Games: Flying Tight, Run for the Money
Meets FCC SAR limit. Manufacturer's highest FCC reported SAR 1.30 at ear, 0.85 on body. Actual SAR may vary.
I like it, but it does have it's problems. My favorite phone I've had so far was the Nokia 8860. SLCentral will start to review cell phones now, so look for a review on the Samsung soon.
I just got a package from Sony-Ericsson today with their T68m GSM phone. From what I've used throughout the day I REALLY like it, but I also did have a few gripes already.
Look for a review on this soon, so far it's the coolest phone I've used. I'm expecting the next generation T68 (T68i) to be arriving in about a month and a half and I'm really looking forward to seeing how that is going to be, since it's a fully joint venture between Sony and Ericsson (rather than just Ericsson).
If there is any phones that you would like to see a review on, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I just got a Samsung Q-105 Cell Phone (it looks just like yours, but its Silver and smaller, thinner) with VoiceStream Wireless. I used to have Verizon, and I was pretty happy with it, but my dad wanted to get VoiceStream because you can call from International Countries for reasonable prices, so we switched and got a family plan (800 minutes for $70 a month).
Im pretty happy with it. I dont get connection in a few places, like my basement, but thats about it. Overall, its been a good experience so far.
BTW if you wanna see a pic of the phone, go on voicestream.com and look for it, im too lazy to do it myself .

LOL Guys, I wouldn't have one of those thing for myself. My wife has one in case of car trouble or something like that but I have never had a desire to even talk one on.
I think of them alot like "call waiting" which my wife has to have. I tell her I can only take to one at a time and if I call someone I am not going to put them on hold to see who wants to sell me something. If it is important they will call back.
To each his/her own.
I loose, we have call waiting. LOL

I've had a Qualcom something. It never worked right. My service provider was Sprint and I will not go back. They had a tendency of forgetting to count minutes when they gave me free month's. So when I get a 100$ bill when I'm supposed to have 200+ minutes left and free too, It's agravating. The only thing nice about sprint was the no contract thing.
My car is reliable now, so I droped Sprint, sold the phone, and I'm much more happy now.
This was about 2 years ago.

Its sweet . I almost got either the N105 (Samsung), but I read some reviews, and they were all pretty bad. Then I decided on the V60g (the sweet small one from Motorola, you know what I am talkin about ), but it was $50 more, and I didnt have too much money to throw around (if only I did), so I stuck with the Q105, and Im happy with it.
Right now I am in London, and I have tested what VoiceStream calls International Roaming, and it works really good. I always have good signal in London, and calling people is easy and sounds really good. If only it wasnt a dollar a minute...
VoiceStream also had the T68m, but it was $50 more before rebates on my phone (my phone is $200 without rebates, the T68 is $250). But, my phone does come with a $50 rebate, so, its $100 more. It's a sweet phone and all, but there is no way that I am gonna spend friggin $250 on a cell phone that I'll probably change in a month ( ). Im guessing that the prices for the T68 will soon go down, and if not, they will be cheap on eBay (!!), so maybe that could be my next phone...I hope.
There was one thing I liked about Verizon and I want to know if any other carriers do this. My dad had Verizon for more than a year (I had it for around 6 months). His secretary called Verizon and asked if it was possible to switch to a monthly plan instead of yearly. The woman said that she could only because my Dad has been with Verizon for a year+. Therefore, we can avoid all cancallation fees. I know that Sprint does not require a contract for a year (or maybe not at all...?), but do any other carriers offer that? It is very helpful. I like to change plans a lot, and that helps me avoid the $150-$200 activation fee.
I just became unlazy cause im so bored, and here is a picture of the Q105 and the N105 (the phone I almost got), along with a pic of the Motorola V60g (g, i believe is for Global, because it works around the world with VoiceStream).
N105 (I dont have this!):
Q105 (I got this one!):
V60g (I dont have this one!):
http://shop.voicestream.com/upl/equ...61014-LARGE.jpg
The v60, of course, is the smallest one, in size. Mine is the biggest, in size...but the N105 is 3.15 oz, and mine is 3.4oz. The v60 is 4.3oz. Lets just say they are all very small. Mine is about an half inch bigger than the Motorola Startacs.
BTW: David, Babuschka says Hi and she misses you and why are you callin me extremepc when im your little bro and you know my name .

I was offered a cell phone for free, and i had to buy for like 50$ of time, ( that i could have canceled after, so it really would have been free, but i refuse i.... hehe DOH )
i should of take it and sell it to someone , that would have been easy money.

This is what I have: Motorola TimePort 8767 with VerizonWireless.
I really love the phone's three-color display. It looks amazing at night!
