    Well, aside from using public IPs on the private side which is forgiveable in this context, the diagram illustrates the need for a DHCP server.

    We got a good chuckle out of it.

    Getting your IP telephony to work with these things is actually quite easy, but you can only do it for one computer on the LAN (because of the assumption that there is only one ISP assigned address).

    The RT314 has a port forwarding feature and you can use that to forward the incoming voice traffic to the computer that you're using IP telephony on. This wasn't covered in the review, which was a shame, I think. One of the many "advanced features..."
