    Dave, could you stop making the thread so long before the article goes live please ?

    I'm bored, and anything remotely interesting seems better than studying for my VB exam at this point

    Plus, that's one neat kind of software, though I truly suck at them

    He'll put the link on the front page after everybody's already given their opinion on it

    That's making me feel bad about my shitty 520 I so need an upgrade, but I'm so broke

    Really nice description of the scenery, you do a good job at showing how awe-inspiring it is

    Couldn't they have designed it as if Rod was in the cockpit with you?

    I'm assuming they did, but since you gotta wear the headset to communicate with other planes, etc when flying, I'm guessing that's how you talk even to the person next to you, since you're not too likely to hear them over the engine/other discussion otherwise. Just a guess though.

    Nice review there, I like your style personally, not too short nor too long. Keep up the good work

    Default want fire balls and wings riping?

    You need to add a line to the aircraft.cfg file. If there are variants, you need to add it to each one. Under each category, add the line;
    visual_damage=1
    example of the Boeing 737-400

    title=Boeing 737-400
    sim=Boeing737-400
    model=
    panel=
    sound=
    texture=
    kb_checklists=Boeing737-400_check
    kb_reference=Boeing737-400_ref
    atc_id=N700MS
    atc_airline=American Pacific
    atc_flight_number=1123
    ui_manufacturer=Boeing
    ui_type=737-400
    ui_variation=American Pacific Airways
    visual_damage=1

    Thanks for the praise, and this is an interesting explanation that could very well be the reason for the scratchy instructor voice. Then again, a quick peek into the co-pilot seat in the virtual cockpit reveals no Rod

    Go into the Charts folder within the folder where FS2002 is installed. There you can find charts for each of the pre-programmed flights. I'm not sure if there are any more than that.
