Dan : You had to start using optical mouse sometimes, hence you didn't always go with what you were used to, meaning that the move to the rotokiller is a probable one, if it ever strikes your fancy

No 2k (or XP) ? Icky Icky NO ! Nasty idea, hope they fix that soon, or else they'll fail even more miserably than they could

I'm sticking with my MouseMan Optical

I believe that keltorak's response to the driver situation will be typical of the modern gamer. A good set of 2000/XP drivers would relieve a lot of the pressure on this product.

Default no mention of linux support...

    ... or lack thereof?

If there's no 2K/XP drivers, I would assume there aren't any linux ones.

I could be wrong, but it seems like they could use some slightly modified existing drivers.... Isnt it just a wacky looking 4 button mouse?

They just need to color it blue, remove 3 buttons, and make Mac drivers.

Sorry for not making it clearer. No, there are no Linux drivers.
