    Thumbs up

So the north gets hotter by increasing the FSB, eh? Why hasn't anyone told me this before? Maybe I'll have to get one. Is it noisy?

Oh yeah, I noticed that on the second picture of the first page, it seams to be glowing purpleish. Did you do something special or does it do that out of the box. Looks cool.

Yep. This is why a lot of 200 FSB boards (Biostar M7VKB, Asus A7V) had only heatsinks and 266 MHz FSB boards (Biostar M7VKD, Asus A7V133) has a heatsink AND fan.

The one catch of the design, isn't so much a design flaw, as it is an occasional motherboard design flaw

No... It's a heatsink design flaw. Heatsinks do not need to be round. There is no real benefit to this shape except for aesthetics. Why should motherboard manufacturer's allow clearance for a heatsink that doesn't have to be round?

On a side note, the "bolt pattern" doesn't fit all boards, either. Off the top of my head, I can say that they don't fit the holes drilled in Biostar boards. I'm sure there are others.

no, the fan is quiet. Its a nice little cooler.

Correct Jonny, the bolts only fir on boards where the holes are about 52mm apart. (with a hair of leeway on that)

which is why I said this:

(assuming it falls with the holes at roughly 52-54mm apart.)

As for the "purple" looking orb on the front page, That's actually a purple orb. GigaHz over at www.so-trickcomputers.com sells some re-finished blue orbs in different colors. He sent me a purple to match all my cabling

    Its cool like that!!
