PC Expo 2002 Coverage
Hey everyone. This year I attended PC Expo and really didn't feel there was enough stuff there to cover for a big article, but I also didn't want to leave you guys in the cold. So anyways, without further wait, here's some of the pictures I got:

Sorry for the blurry shot.
This is a window the Sony booth had with some prototype products. The cell phone in the front is due out soon, and looks REALLY good in my opinion. I didn't really get any info on the other products, just thought it would be nice to show anything prototype
More prototype stuff
Even more

Closer up
Look how empy it is, last year that whole back area was full of stuff! I believe TechTV had a big thing setup in that space where they were broadcasting live....they were nowhere to be found this year...
The new Olympus D-550 3MP camera, priced at $399. This should be released by next week.

Back shot of the same camera.
Another Olympus camera due out next week. The camera is priced at $599 and has an 8x optical ultra-zoom lens. Very nice looking.
Storage media in a small format!

Look how small. These have been talked about for quite a while now, just time to get them into the mainstream.
Very slim digital camera from Casio called the Exilim. One of the cooler looking products at the show.

Some information you may be curious about with the Casio digital camera.
And more info
The new Kyocera Smartphone (7100 series). This thing was VERY cool, and one of my favorites of the show. Nicely designed, and should give Handspring's Treo some great competition...Hopefully taking us to the point where we have a perfect convergence device in our hands.

A VIA tablet PC, running on one of their prototype chipsets.
The insides of the tablet PC using their chipset.
And all of the ports and connections.

Intel's booth this year.
Cool looking device at Intel's booth.
A bunch of mobile devices at Intel's booth, some of which I've never seen nor heard of before.

An Asus slim computer. Very nice looking.
A shot to show you everything going on in the area.
We like the word prototype...can you tell?

A very nice looking LCD monitor from NEC that we hope to be reviewing in the near future.

NEC 30" LCD display....notice I did not say plasma...I said LCD.
Super bright mode on a CRT monitor is VERY cool.
A new mouse from a company called Gyration. This thing was one of my favorites of the show. It is an optical wireless mouse that is rechargeable, but the coolest thing is that it uses a gyro so that you can move the mouse around in the mid-air. I was skeptical of how good it work, but then I tried it out and I liked it very much. Keep checking back in the upcoming weeks for a review from us on this. Price will be $79, and $99 for a bundle with a wireless keyboard. It works from 25 feet away. There will also be a pro version which works from 100 feet away, but is more expensive.

The gyro
AMD's arsenal of notebooks. You can't really tell, but the notebook on the top left had an AWESOME display made by Hitachi, only available in Asia right now. I can't wait to see that here! The folks from AMD PR called it the "wow" display.
A closeup, unfortunately you can't really tell, but take my word
