Someone needs to proof-read this stuff, maybe Jake...? I'm reading the second page right now, and I've already found a few instances of "your" instead of "you're"... you need you're when you want to say "you are." Jake, you should proof-read your articles in the future, or ask us (other editors) to proof-read them before they're posted, because spelling errors make things less professional. Good review though, at least, what I've read so far... I'll go finish it now =P

Nice review Jake . Just read it. Curious though, how was the actual image quality of the card? I've been reading about quite a close comparison between the latest ATI and nVidia cards for image quality (with ATI winning by a hair usually), and I was curious as to what your opinion is.

One other point, sorry to criticize you Jake. Could you possibly provide a comparison of the overclocked card against the other cards you used in the review, instead of just comparing it to itself? I would be interested to see the non-overclocked speed compared against the 9700, and see where the overclocked speed falls in that range. Just a thought... I know you might not have access to the same system or whatever, but you could always just merge the 2 graphs together.

Hehe. I actually had someone proof read it for me before I sent it in and they found a couple times where I used your incorrectly. For some reason I don't think to use you're instead of your. I really gotta work on that. Please tell me if you find anymore.

Extreme (Dan)- I found what you said to be true. The image quality seemed a little bit better on the 9600 than on my Geforce, not a huge difference though.

    Yertle-
I'm not quite clear on what you mean by :

I take that as you would like to see the 9600 regular, 9600 overclocked, and the 9700 all in one graph?

Yeah... because then people could know how far they could push their card, and how close that gets them to a 9700. Just a thought....

Great review. Is there any difference between the VisionTek Xtasy 9600Pro and the ATI Radeon 9600Pro. I imagine they're basically the same but does one have an advantage over the other? I noticed that the 256MB 9600 is more expensive than the 9600 Pro - is it worth it?
Also, how easy is it to damage the 9600 pro from over overclocking?
Finally, are there any games that take advantage the dual monitor capability?
    ThankS!

Thanks Unregistured. I don't know if there is any difference between the two cards being as I haven't tested them- but I would have to say there isn't. It's the same technology in both.
About the 256meg card- once again, I haven't tested it so I can't really give you an answer.

Well I suppose its possible but if your careful and start low and slowly increase the speeds you should be fine.

    Finally-

I don't know of any games off hand that take advantage of dual monitors.
