UPDATE: In my review, I stated that Ultra probably went back to make this MP3 player's buttons more awkward that the 8-in-1 model's buttons. Fact is, Ultra was selling this MP3 player long before the 8-in-1 model and to consider the 8-in-1 the next generation model. This from a representative of Ultra Products.

Doh! I must be using new math in my reviews. I said that by adding 512MB to the MP3 player I tripled my capacity. That's way off, isn't it? Oh well! Sorry about that.

I boght this item based on your review (and a killer price w/rebate at zipzoomfly.com - $55 after rebate). You mentioned FM tuner in your review. The user's manual doesn't mention it, and I cant find it if it exists. Also has a couple a drawbacks not mentioned in your review. 1. There is no shuffle funtion. 2. There is no resume on start-up funciton. You have to start at the top of the playlist every time (bummer). Otherwise a good player.

I didn't mention that there's no shuffle, no resume on start up because most thumb-drive players don't have these features. If one does and I review it, I'd giv it an extra star. Not take a star away for not having one.

As for the tuner.... Press <M>enu and click down two options. It should say, "FM Tuner." I'm looking at mine right now and it says, "Music / Voice / FM Tuner..." on the menu.

If yours doesn't have that, DEFINTELY let me know because there's something wrong with either your MP3 player or mine and I need to get to the bottom of it.

I have had to send this thing in for warranty 3 times now! The thing really sucks if you want to use it on a daily bases.

What's up with that?

I personally have the 8 in 1 model, but my wife has the 4-in-1 that I reviewed and I gave a second one to my brother. Now my wife only uses hers on the treadmill (about 5 hours a week tops), but my brother uses his all of the time. He rides his bike to and from work and listens to it during the whole ride. Neither of them have had any issues.

What kind of problems were you having?
