If you get a chance to customize your system properties window, post a screenshot of it here! You've all seen mine in the article, but here it is again:

Plagarism
Its nice that you copied this straight out of this month's Maximum PC issue. Good job guys. Way to give out credit. You ought to get the Nobel Prize for most obvious plagarism of the year.

Eh?
Something must not have happened quite the way you intended it...
What are you trying to do in ME?

Well, if you wanted to get technical about it, Maximum PC copied it from Anand and HardOCP who just ran this about two months ago, and there's no telling where those guys got it from. Really, this is a standard-issue Windows hack, and nobody really copied anybody. Dave may have gotten inspiration from Maximum PC...this I do not know...but the odds are pretty high that this was not a blatant ripoff.
Besides, the way things work at Imagine Media's distribution center...if Dave is subscribed to Maximum PC, he probably won't receive this month's issue for another 6 weeks or so...

Nice tweak but it would help if you would show where each line 1-10, correspond on page . Some of what's shown on list doesn't appear on final pic you show??? Update this???

According to your other post, you didn't have this INI file. If it doesn't exist, then just create it using Notepad and type in all the text that Dave has in his. If you'll notice, he actually used Windows ME for the example.

If memory serves, this information is presented to you in a Help File if you click on the Manufacturer Logo in the My Computer window. I'm using NT right now, so I can't say this for sure...I just created the file myself, and I still don't have the OEM information there. Dave?

I was shocked to read this article about creating a customized system properties screen. It is a direct rip off of the article that appeared in this month's Maximum PC. At least give them some credit, this is bad journalism. I am seriously dissapointed in your website.
