Is it ok to round ATA66 and ATA100 cables? I've seen it done on SCSI and regular IDE, but not those...If you have done it, any tips?

It's fine to round ATA100. I've been rounding SCSI cables for a couple of years and never had a problem. But even better then rounding them is just paying http://www.plycon.com $10 for machine rounded cables.

    Talking yes it is safe

I just finished it on two ata100 cables
it is still easy you simply have to be alittle more careful cutting between the wires since they are so much smaller
after that it is the same as in all the reviews

I agree 110% on this. I fucked up four ATA-100 cables trying to do rounding on them. It's easy, but one screwup will ruin your day. I like the machine-made cables more anyway...
