OK..... I just bought a bunch of new components on a limited budget so i got a amd duron 800mhz (socket a) cpu.... I know how to attach the cpu to the mother board and how to attach the heatsink/fan combo to the processor but some heatsink compound stuff came with the heatsink/fan and i'm not too up to date with how to use it..... so if some-one woundn't mind telling me where to apply it or how to use it or weather or not to use it, i would greatly appreciate your help.

Actually that guide is how I found this web-site...... but i couldn't find anything in that guide that told how to apply any heatsink compound or where to apply it to a duron processor.... attaching the fan was easy and i figured that out on my own, i just don't know what to do with the heatsink compound gel like liquid stuff that came with the heatsink/fan combo.

This is not the same paste that you will apply to your Duron
