I've gone over to the dark side: Macintosh.
I was wondering if anyone knows any good auctions for mac stuff (besides ebay and macauctions.com).
I've been looking around, but Macs are so expensive!

Yeah, I definitely agree.. I would love to take a look at OS-X.. however I am at a complete lack-of-a-mac that would run it.. (I do have an old Classic.. which runs 7.1.0 (i think..), but that wouldn't even get CLOSE to running X smoothly..

That reminds me.. March 24th, only 6 days away. I would imagine that with the new Darwin backend powering everything in OS-X, there will probably be quite a higher level of stability present in Mac products..

interesting. Every mac I've ever used has froze up just from web browsing. It's not the kind of freeze up you think about, but it's there. When doing a simple task like web browsing, it has unexplained freezes for about 10 seconds a piece, then unfreezes. This is every mac, and I've used about10 different G3s anda G4. Not a huge problem, but can certainely waste time. Also, netscape also has tons of errors that cause it to close.

I've only run into applications freezing.. (or crashing actually..).. predominantly Internet Explorer.. (netscape has never crashed with me..)
Fascinating..
