    Default Proxy stuff

anyone reccomend a good proxy fostware I can run in Win2K?

I know ICS is there, but, well, ICS blows goats, A LOT. Too restrictive and no configuration at all.

    any tips and/or pointers?

Well, W2k includes routing and remote access so that you can set up nat and forwarding till your heart is content. Fully configurable.

But if you want some thing simple, there are many third party routing downloads available. I am currently running SolidShare availablle at www.solidshare.com (of course). Simple but quick routing software, just need a key

Oh, btw, I hope this is what you were looking for, not sure what fostware is.

AnologX proxy is pretty good under win2k. Under win98 it kept crashing, but in win2k I've had it running for 5 weeks straight.
