Default Hard Drive Sizes? (Inspired by AGW)

Random thought from A Guru's world....

He comments on how he used to be god with his slick 5MB drive. Just how big is your main system's storage?

My main system (see sig) has 60GB in two drives.

My secondary box, a retro-server (MSI Dual P-Pro board with two P2-333 Overdrives) has two 9GB U2 SCSI drives and one 2.1 UW SCSI, all 7200krpm. It's a system I dink around with when bored, and it can play older games. I've been thinking of selling it, whole or parts, recently, but not sure how I'd best get rid of it.

I've got 30GB, but if I took all my hard drives and put them in a system somehow I'd have 161GB

My guess would be "too much"

HD is not at the top of my upgrade list, but it's close. I always have to deal with space running out. That and I have too many burned CDs to fit in my 200 CDs booklet

Those animes and movies sure do take up a lot of storage space

Had 40 GB for quite some time now and I don't believe that I'm going to have to upgrade to a larger size anytime soon.

If we talk about speed do you you think it would be better to have something like 2 x 40 go in Raid O than 1 big 100Go 8 mo of cache ???
