Okay. Let me get this straight. You spend all that money on all that crap, and you're OVERCLOCKING your processors? Puh! Why not just buy the freakin' 1.4GHz chips or somethin'?

Because the Athlon MPs are faster per clock, cooler per clock ;-)
And 1.2 is the fastest MPs that are out right now.

Oh yeah...duh...I was forgetting the fact that you needed SMP-specific Athlons...

This is impossible. The Lian Li 68 chassis only has four 5.25" bays. You'll have to drop one of these parts, since you've got five 5.25" panels here.

In the grand scheme of things, I'd have to say that the G400 is "older" than the Aureal. Chronologically, this may be untrue, but the Aureal is still perfectly viable today, whereas the G400 is certainly worn out.

I think/heard that the Game Theatre XP is/can be an outside model.... Did I hear wrong? www.3dsoundsurge.com seems to make it seem so with outputs in the back of the module that would only work outside the machine.

Now that you mention it, I think that's true. It can be a "breakout" box if you want. Well, we'll find out in just a couple of weeks, as we are currently reviewing one!

That aureal card is first generation card man. I got that shit when i bought my PII 400 from that freakin dell for 4300.00 about 2 and a half year ago. Believe it or not I order the day after they annouced the availablity. Cause i was so sick of using my P 90 from Micron for about 4 years.
Back in a day i still remember paying segate 2.1 gig for 430.00 overnighted from some online shopping site. It was the biggest.
sometime i wonder what the hell am i doing?

dream system... hmm something that plugs into my brain so i don't have to use this stupid keyboard and mouse set up hehehe
other than that I'm pretty close to my dream system already... all I need is a better motherboard, preferrably a DDR or rambus based mobo with at least 1 GB of memory, Gainward GeForce 3 (like that read color ), DVD-R drive and software, NewQ Platinum (although I'm tempted to buy this as I type hehehe), new klipsch 5.1 speakers, more lights and mods on my case...
come to think of it could probably use 2 of those new Tualatin PIIIs... a SB Live! Platinum 5.1 would be cool too, Planar 18" Flat LCD display is also nice , SCSI RAID and HDs would be cool too... hmm I guess I'm not really THAT close to my dream machine hehehe well the machine I have now was my dream machine a year ago....

Oh...An Aureal Vortex v1 - That's different. I thought you meant an Aureal Vortex2. *That* would have still been viable.
