IWILL XP333 (Onboard Audio - C-Media)
OK..... I have been having tons of difficulty getting the drivers for the audio to download. I have the software that is in the case that comes with the IWILL motherboard, but that does not seem to work. I have also tried downloading it from the internet and that does not seem to work.... I need help please! I know this is probably the simplest solution, but I have attempted everything I possibly could. I checked BIOS to see if there was a setting that was (Disabled)... that did not work... I have tried adding hardware and looking for the drivers on the cd to see if it will recognize them there. Well it recognizes them but when it is almost completed the driver dowload it completely restarts my computer... and this is an ongoing battle no matter what I try... I have Windows XP, 512 MB Ram, AMD xp 1900 processor, IWILL XP333 motherboard. If anyone could shed some light on what might be the problem... I would greatly appreciate it... I am AIM instant messager 24/7... so feel free to instat message me.

This sounds to me like either a power supply issue, or maybe a problem with ACPI. Since you likely don't have too much installed on your computer right now, I'd recommend going into your BIOS to disable ACPI in favor of APM, and then reinstall XP (Changing between ACPI and APM requires modifications to the Windows subsystem, and it's rather messy to hack it yourself).

I will get someone to try that. I am not too familiar with that so I best leave it in someone elses hands If anyone else has any other recommendations please let me know.
Thanks
