Default Trying to Share Files/Printer between Wired and Wireless PC's

The subject pretty much says what I'm trying to do, but whenever I try to connect my desktop (wired) to my wireless notebook to share files, it doesn't seem to work. The wireless notebook finds the desktop computer, but does not let me browse it. The desktop finds nothing, and when I try to share files it gives me a server problem (I don't remember the exact error). Im also trying to network 2 more Pc's (one laptop wireless and a desktop wired), but I'm not sure right now if that's gonna work. I'll post some more messages or edit this one if I get some more info.

You have to allow permissions on the one computer. For example, moms computer has the printer on it...so go to her computer and set the printer to shared and give yourself access to it. Try that and see if it works
