    Default HOW FAR CAN I GO WITH MY p4?

    HI , my name is Andrey , and here are my system spects
    p4 1.8@2.0[2.2max]
    512mb DDR [333mhz]
    p4s533 asus MB [533mhz fsb]
    audigy platium sound card
    leadteck geforce4 mx440 [64mb] (enouph for me)
    western digital 40gb [7200rpm] HDD
    yamaha 16x10c40x (loud one)
    unknown 56x cdrom (much quieter)
    altec lansing 641 4.1 speakers (love it)
    DSL 76kbs[85usual] max speed/12kbs upload
    SONY trinitron 17inch monitor (love it)
    XP pro (love the simplicity of use)

    I was wondering if any of u could clue me in on how to push p4 chip to its realy end?!?! I got my 1.8[northwood] running rock solid at 2.1ghz , 2.2 it goes fine except that it crashes while i play Counter Strike. {i increased buss speed.thats all}
    Is this because i didnt lower ram speed or increased the voltage for cpu?

    Up your core voltage to 1.575 or 1.6 ............. I've got basically the same setup ( cpu/MB ) and mine runs great at 2.4 ........ and I've got a 1.6 on another P4S533 running at 2.2 ...........

    you use any water cooling device or the one u got with the cpu?
    i thought increasin voltage would fry up my cpu.

    Well for voltage you really should not go above 1.75v. Anything higher will shorten the life of the cpu.
