Non-conductive silicone sealant?
Has anyone heard of using non-conductive silicone sealant on plugs and connectors in computers? My Dad is a farmer, and uses non-conductive sealant on automotive electrical connecters to keep them from corroding and getting dust in them. He’s asked me several times why computers don’t use it.
I’ve sure never heard of anyone using it on computers, but maybe in servers, or ruggedized laptops? I’m not going to be squirting any electrical sealant in my agp slot without a second opinion!
