    Question Which vid card?

I'm really stupid when it comes to graphics, but how does 3D performance on a Matrox G450 compare to an nVidia TNT 2 M64? I'd really like to have dual monitors, but I'd still like to be able to play Quake 3, RTCW, Neverwinter Nights (when its availible), and any other little OpenGL apps under Linux.

TNT2 M64 actually still has pretty decent performance in 3D. It was upuntil recently that I had a TNT2 in my brothers machine--he couldn't play GTAIII, so we installed a Geforce3 in that sucker.

3D Performance has always been better on the nVidia cards over Matrox--and seemingly that is holding true for the long run.
