I'm having trouble with my voodoo 5 5500 and delta force land warrior game. During multiplayer startup and during the game, no text is shown. I have Direct X 8.0a a the 1.04.00 drivers. Anyone have any clue what could be causing this?

Do you mean you can't see the text or the text is not being displayed at all? I would bet it is more likely a game setting and not something wrong with the video card. Could it be set to not display text or is the text color set so that it blends into the background? If that doesn't help, I would try some of the other drivers and maybe even drop back down to DirectX 7. Let us know if you find anything.

Try downloading the new drivers from x3dfx.com. I heard someone say that they got it to work using them.

In case you felt leery about downloading drivers from a place that's not 3dfx, the site that smtkr mentions was formed by former 3dfx employees, hoping to make a potential business out of supporting and advancing those products which used to be their lives. Unfortunately, things didn't quite work out in their favor, so get those drivers while you can.
