The second power supply I've gone through has just died! I had to shell out 80 bucks for a 400 watt PS from compusa!

Power supplies do suck, I got a 300 power supply to replace my 250 when I bought my athlon. Recently for no damn reason at all my computer will just restart. I'm pretty sure this is a power supply problem and its really annoying. It happened twice in a row to days ago then it won't happen for like a month, its wierd

Default It must be your rig.

I've never had a PSU problem ever, even with everything loaded on a 300W

I have replaced 2 power supplies in the last 2 weeks here at work. Replaced a mobo the other day, and someone was having video card problems this morning. We are just not having good luck with hardware the last couple of weeks.

I find it that the best way to get even with a powersupply is to put lighter fluid on it and then set it on fire.. its fun to watch hehe.. Ive seen a few websites taht actually do this.. i think one is tweak3d.net and the other is the-ctrl-alt-del.com.. really funny.

I have continually had problems with the measly 145W power supply that came with my Gay-tway. Anyway, I'll be upgrading soon, any particular units that anyone recommends (I'm going to upgrading to something in a Socket A, so AMD recommend is good)?
