    Question

Has anyone seen one of these cases in person? If so are they pretty quiet? The systems that I have seen on the net tend to o/c pretty well with this cool case. I am affraid to try a pelter because my T-Bird would die pretty fast if something went wrong with the setup. I think the price has came down to $600 or so for a complete VapoChill setup. It sure would be nice to see that 1600mhz+ T-Bird scream. My current air cooled T-Bird is at its limit (1400mhz) and sounds like a vacuum cleaner. You just about need hearing protection to sit by it.

    Default VapoChill

I haven't seen one of these b4, but it seems like a good idea. I didn't spend a lot of time looking around, but what seems to be their process for cooling the CPU?

I would quess its just standard R22 type freon. Its realy nothing more than a aircondition unit. The evaporator is what makes contact with the cpu core. They claim that the average cpu temp is around -18c with this setup. I dont think the condensation problems with the VapoChill are as bad as a pelter setup. If I can get a couple of days of overtime I might see about trying one out.

I will let you know when I get my hands on one Dave. Most of my extra money is going into that Mustang im building, but I may just set some away for the VapoChill. I have been wanting one for some time now.

The last review I saw suggested that they sound like a small bar fridge chugging away...
