Case mod
Im gonna be modding my entire case pretty damn soon. Ill be putting water cooling in it too. I have an extra water cooling heatsink and I was thinking...what the hell can i do with this? Well i thought of something; put a ub3r mini fridge (about 4 in by 4 in.) that will house my favorite drink Starbucks frapacino...oh yea (aka my source of caffene) in there. Now i was thinking how i should do this. Ive come up with some ideas. My best one so far is this: Make a 4x4 in. metal cube. Attach a hose to it and lead it out of the computer. Rig a button system that will allow the frapacino to exit the mini fridge and go through the tube and into the cup ill have waiting outside under the tube. Now i was hoping this is where you guys could help. I would like to have your ideas and also what types of metal and stuff i should use. Thanks.

It's a great idea, but sorry, got no ideas. Good luck though! Have you seen the Caffene Machine PC? You outta take a look. I'm too lazy to look for it now, but just search for it on Google.

Yea see i would do that but teh reason im putting it inside my computer(aside from teh fact that im using my water cooling heat sink) is that my mom is a bizatch and she for some odd reason not known to me doesnt what me to have any food and/or drinks in my room. It really pisses me off. Im in the middle of an avp2 frag fest and i get thirst, ah it looks like i have to run down teh stairs to get something. Damn thats annoying. So i wanna kinda make it discrete. Not to mention i think that it would look pretty sh3xy when i mod my avp2 box.

First off you would need a pump system to get the frapacino from the cube to the cup. You would also need some sort of limiter to tell when the cup is full our you would have to keep an eye on it until it fills then turn it off. The biggest problem is stuff spoiling on you and remaining in the tube, tank, and pump contamination the rest of good frapacino you put in.

Damn that took a while to draw :-P
But heres what im gonna do, 1 is gonna be the tank that i will store the frap. 2 is the tubing. There will be a valve where 1 and 2 meet. The valve will be opened and closed with a button that i will rig outside of my computer. I will use gravity as my pump, as when i open the valve gravity will pull the frap down and go through the tube. I will attach the pump relatively high in my case allowing gravity to do all the work. i will then run the tubing out through my pci slot where my cup will be waiting. Once i feel there is enough in the cup i will release the button and if all goes well the valve should close. Now, yes, spoiling will be a problem, but i feel that i will be able to work something out. But i am actually more worried about leaks. Just like Confucius most famous saying goes; "He who gets frapacino on his video card is screwed." Well its something like that .

I get what you are saying. In that system the only leak would result form a faulty valve. Other than that it is recomended that you use calamps on all the joins. Right now on my water cooling setup there are hardly any clamps, 1/2 inch hose of 1/2 inch barb and it's tight. No leaks. As everyone says run the liquid system without any system (pc) components for about 24 hours to check for leaks.
