    Unhappy

I must be doing something wrong
I run sisoft sandra to see what kinda performance I'm getting
but on everything except for the cpu benchmark my scores are extremely low
for example: I have 256mb of cas2 rated pc133 ram
my bios is set to run that ram at
    cas2@134mhz but my performance in
sandra is lower than the regular via kt133
    memory ratings
    that is just one example
it is similar for had drive
    and dvd-rom performance
I my not be saying this well but you get the point
    am I just cursed

    Question Questions

Did you get my e-mail about this?

What brand video card is it (Other than a GeForce2)? In other words, who made it? Are you using their drivers, or Detonators? What version drivers are you using? Also, what OS are you using?
What else do you have installed so far? You may have background apps that are unwittingly killing your system's resources before Sandra can start attacking. I think you also said that 3DMark2000 is going rather slowly, so that's why I've mentioned all of the above.
You say you've got CAS2 RAM. Is your BIOS set to use CAS2 latency? Make sure it's using 2-2-2 timing and not 3-2-2 or 2-3-2.

How are your DVD and hard drives set up on the IDE controllers? Also, everyone feel free to correct me on this if I'm wrong (And I'm pretty sure I am not), but the KT7A has all four IDE ports running on ATA-100, right? I can't remember if two were ATA-100 and two were ATA-33.

    Talking fixed

I seem to have solved my problem
I just had to install the latest VIA 4in1 driver and now I get great performance 7200 in 3dmark2000
I sent you an email I hope you got it

and the KT7A-nonraid only has two ata100 slots
    the KT7A-raid has four ata100
