I was switching between detonator drivers and i accidentally overwrite a GART file. After that I got slow performance in everything. I have the Intel 440BX AGPset. I've already tried installing the new drivers but it said something about my operating system not needing an update :-(.

I don't know what's the problem, by the way If you are running Win2k or Win ME the motherboard drivers would not be updated as the installer says OS itself has installed everything for your motherboard. Same thing happened to me when I try to put drivers for my i440BX motherboard from Intel Website. Try deleting all your driver files & reinstalling it if you thing its detonater drivers problem

I'd just format the drive, reinstall windows, and your good to go .

Try uninstalling Detonator drivers and install the standard VGA drivers.....re-boot....download and install Detonator 3 v12.41 and install then re-boot....Hopefully that can fix your problem...
