I heard and read that a 20in LCD at 1600 1200 really eats up performance nd is appx 20 fps slower dan 18in LCD at 1280 1024
I have an arctic chilled radeon 9800xt. Should i buy the 20in or 18in. if it helps im planning on buyin a viewsonic unless anyone has a better sudgesstion

1600x1200 is slower than 1280x1024 because you are increasing the resolution. I would save my money and get the 18” and use things like AA and AF to enhance the quality of the games. At the slightly lower resolution, you wouldn’t take as big a performance hit.
Other good choices include NEC and Samsung, and while you are at it look for the lowest response time and along with a DVI connector.
