Default How many systems have you owned?

    Let's see ....

    a Sinclair something (1980?)
    a VIC 20 (1981?)
an original Macintosh 512K with no hard drive (1985)
    a 286/12.5 MHz with a whopping 2 MB of RAM (1992)
    a 486/33 (1994)
    a Pentium 166 MMX (1997)
    a Pentium II 300 (1998)
    an Athlon 600 (2000)
and now an Athlon 1200/266 (2001)

so that makes 9 .... wow. I'd never added them up before.

and of course my current "baby" ---

Well I have 4 that currently run. And I am about to get another one soon. I got a nifty coupon from Dell for $75 off my next system. I was thinking of getting a descent one from them and then tearing it apart and rebuilding it.

The sad thing is that I have a sixth one, My UGR. But it doesn't run right now the mobo and proc lost in limbo.

You can get all of the juicy details in my other post in the "Anything Chat" Called "Shipping companies SUCK!!"

    AMD 850

and my old faithful laptop, a PII 400 mhz.

    I've had 3 286s (they worked, but I didn't bother, as I got them in 1996)

    3 386s (one was a Dual 25mhz 386dx -- SLOT BASED!!!!). Only two worked.

    1 486

    1 Cyrix PR 300
    2 Cyrix PR 200
    1 AMD Athlon ("Thunderbird") 700mhz

    1 Intel CeleronA 450mhz

I'd go on with more details, but those are boring, as I shared a lot of parts
