    Question

You can give details if you want, but it's not necessary. Try to count by the processor/mainboard combination. In other words, if you had a P66 that you upgraded to a P133 and kept it in the same chassis, then that doesn't count, but if you took the guts out, rearranged them with other parts and then put some new conglomeration back together, then that's different.

Right now, I've got three running systems, plus my laptop. Then there's my girlfriend's laptop, plus the system she's putting together in a couple of weekends. I also have a non-working Acer system that I need to replace the BIOS on, and a Compaq Deskpro that I've been recently given. And there's also my Apple IIc which I will be getting running again soon. So that's a total of nine for me!

Hmmm.... time to dig into the depths of my memory...
    I have owned:
    - 386 (my first computer, and I don't remember much about it)
    - 486 DX-2 80
    - Pentium 100
    - Pentium 200 (flogged, i mean borrowed, the parts from school)
    - AMD K6-3 400 Laptop (With linux, and running absolutely wonderfully)
    - AMD K6-3 450 with TNT2 (my machine at the moment)
    - P3 700 Laptop with 192 MB of RAM (It's a family one, but I use it most of the time)

So, that puts me at 7 computers. At this rate, if I own 7 computers evrry 15 years, and i'm 15 now, and allowing for increase in wage, i'll would have owned 63 computers by the time i'm 90 (providing i live that long)

    lets see.... I've had:
386SX-16 MHz (IBM clone) 8MB RAM
    Gateway 2000 486DX33 upped to 66MHz, went from 8MB RAM to 20MB
Tandy 1000TL 8MHz with (I think) 1MB RAM o/c to 22 MHz.... it only runs for 7 hours at a time before it starts smoking...
and I currently own a P3-500 128MB RAM, ASUS P3BF mobo, TNT2, 17GB HD, and a 4GB HD, SBLive! Value, DVD drive... CD-RW drive... Iomega Tape 250 (lifted from 486 which was sold... for $400... in perfect working order)
that puts me at... only 4 but oh well....

    1-Commodore Vic4
    2-386Dx-40
    3-486Dx100
    4-K6-2 300

Commodre really sucked, hooked up to the TV. Wa spretty much a keyboard with a little memory and a tape drive. Not really any programs or anything. I would spend all day just programming to make a program that would be bubbles falling down the screen. Yet, now I can't prgram anything except a basic HTML page, I knew more programming when I was 7-8 then I do now at 23.
