my buddy has a 475mhz amd k6/2 ibm aptiva with 292mb sdram. he recently upgraded his voodoo 3 pci to an inno3d 64mb sdram geforce2mx pci. the geforce card runs pretty well in counterstrike getting about 20 frames a sec. which was an improvement from his 15 fps with the voodoo, but in diablo 2 the game just goes down to what seems to be 2-4 fps with the geforce. even the integrated video is better at running diablo. The mouse pointer is sometimes visible during counterstrike also, so the game slows down a lot. i am thinkin that it is his processor that is causing all this, but that seems kind of awkward considering it is a 475mhz amd k6/2. his benchmarks with madonion 2000 is around 740 i think. when the voodoo was in there it never finishes the benchmark so we have no idea what it is. i have tested out the geforce card on my computer, duron 894mhz with 256 pc150 ram, and the card runs fine. although it does seem a bit sluggish considering it is a geforce card, but i am comparing it to my old geforce2 gts. do you all have any advice because i am stumped and so we may just upgrade his comp to a duron comp.

    Default Could be the card?

Inno3d cards have been noted to have some problems. What drivers are you using? I'd try Detonators 8.05 if you're not. That's something to try, anyway?
