On one my systems here, everytime I boot up Windows it searches for PCI Serial Controller but nothing I have finds the drivers...any ideas?

That's a modem. The newer PCI modems use a serial enumerator to bridge access from the normal COM ports to the PCI bus, since the serial ports are normally only available on the ISA bus.
